Theory 3A is freshman theory and is transferable to CSU and UC schools.The class focuses on developing fundamentals such as notation skills, key signatures, scales, intervals, triads, seventh chords, 4-part chorale writing, phrase structure and more. This class provides a foundation for all future music theory classes including upper division theory should you decide to continue your music education at a four year institution.
