Music 3C is a continuation of 3B so if you are struggling with concepts covered in the first year, you will have difficulty passing this class unless you continue to work on fundamentals (see list below). Check out the various theory sites I have listed on the Theory Links page. In addition to the web, Practica Musica in the music lab is a great learning tool.
Singing - Sight-sing a melody at or below the level of pages 113-116 of the Cleland book. Aural - Melodies at the level of labs, 5 seventh chords, diatonic progressions from the practice sheet, rhythms including 16th notes (simple and compound meters). Written - Leading-tone 7th Chords, Secondary Dominant and L.T. chords, Non-dominant 7th's and Modulation (closely related keys).
